I have over 25 years of hands-on experience in the home interiors and residential remodeling industry. Having worked closely with hundreds of homeowners across Southern Califonia, I know how design choices perform in real homes over time. 

Aesthetics matter to me, but what’s more important is durability, maintenance, and long-term performance. 

Personal Story:

I’m Ryan Stecklair, owner of Family Interiors. Everything started with my great grandmother in 1976, who turned simple draperies into artistic pieces that made homes feel more personal and lively. What began as a hands-on craft grew into a family legacy built on creativity, quality, and care for the homes we serve.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside hundreds of homeowners across Southern California. I’ve seen how design choices hold up in real homes, not just on day one, but years later. Flooring, window treatments, and layout decisions all affect how a home functions and feels for everyday life. 

What motivates me most is helping homeowners feel confident in their decisions. I believe open, honest guidance matters, especially when someone is investing in their home. I’m upfront about what will last, what will need maintenance, and what makes sense for how a space is actually used.

Today, through Family Interiors, I help people make smart interior decisions they won’t regret 10 or 15 years down the line.
